About
A bit of a Renaissance man, with the scar tissue to prove it.

Rural northwest Pennsylvania raised me, and formative stretches in Naples, Düsseldorf and Santa Fe rearranged me. These days I live in Lakeland, Florida, with my husband Joel. CoCo the Shih-Tzu and Mayadevi the tabby run the house.
I’ve spent 30 years in brand development, graphic design, web design and publication design. Properganda, the studio I started in 2005, is where that work still lives.
My spiritual résumé runs long. I trained as a Roman Catholic seminarian and later practiced Vajrayana and Zen Buddhism for about three decades, serving as a ngakpa and a kalyanamitra. I’ve since deconstructed both traditions. Whatever survived the demolition now feeds the UnCurrent, a fuller path I’m building out of the original Creative Unfoldment method.
I did AIDS work in Naples in the 1990s. I read people through the Enneagram and Jyotish, take photographs, make collages and write poetry, essays, and books when an idea won’t leave me alone.
